Two-Page IL Compact (.pdf format): This compact two page checklist (one sheet of paper front and back) is great for keeping a tally of species seen. This compact version is great for day trips, a site list, or other lists that you may keep with you in the field. Excel Version.

Four-Page IL with 9 Columns (.pdf format): This four page checklist has nine columns that can be used to keep track of sightings at different sites, counties, or for other lists. This is a great travel checklist for birders who keep separate tallies at different sites or in different counties. Use the boxes left of the species names to keep an overall running tally as well. Excel Version.

Detailed IL with 6 Columns (.pdf format): This is an Excel version of the official IOS Birds of Illinois checklist. Includes Latin names and details about species status in Illinois. Species in this list are divided into Orders (or Families where more appropriate). This is a seven page checklist, best for desk use. Excel Version.

Chicago Area Checklist
(COS): A checklist of Chicago area birds including Kane, McHenry,
Lake, DuPage, Will, and Cook counties. The checklist contains three
